my dear son has decided to rebel against his mother for the 2nd day in a row! With a pounding headache I try my best to ignore the pain and help the little one to calm down. Alas, I have no success and just wish for the best-hugging him will eventually calm him down, right?

This past weekend I had my first event attempting to sell Barefoot Books. What a day (quite similar to today actually, just more wind). It was a much smaller fair than I anticipated and with the weather being so crummy, it wasn’t well attended. But, I did get to hang out with my mother for the fair and meet some people who adore the books, so that was good.

It was hard from an educator stand point to see parents not even interested in the books. How can you NOT be interested? They are so colorful and fun. Kids these days with their ADD and only wanting to watch TV or play video games or go on the computer. Wouldn’t it be interesting if we were to lose power for a week across the US…what would happen?

Apparently today is a random thought kind of day. My mind can’t seem to focus on much (not that this is something new since the birth of my ‘angelic’ son). This mom brain gets to me. Need more adult interaction……
