My sister (who now lives in the same house) and I decided that we would watch all of the American Film Institute’s top 100 movies.  Well, last night we started the list off with Ben Hur.  We had been dreading it for weeks, given the running time of over 3 hours and the chariot races, Roman conquering, etc. (not our thing).  We managed to get through one hour last night…and I’m ashamed to admit that I am actually intrigued with what will happen when we pick back up.  This may be a grueling task at times, but I think it will be quite fun watching the top 100 movies!
